IMPORTANT:

Please read the following Terms & Conditions as this is an agreement by the Producer (Maori-Art.com) and you (the customer) as it relates to any items sold on this website.

Maori-Art.com is owned by Darcy N Holdings Ltd. All original artworks or merchandise sold through Maori-Art.com will be accompanied by a confirmation email. Unless the customer arranges their own collection and delivery of artworks, all artworks or merchandise sent from New Zealand will be completed through either New Zealand Post or a reputable firm that delivers art works professionally.

THIRD PARTY REPRESENTATIVES

Some items displayed on Maori-Art.com could link to 3rd party websites and website owners who represent artworks that we produce. Upon choosing to view that item you do so understanding that you are entering a new website and that you are proceeding upon that website’s own Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

SHIPPING COSTS:

Shipping and freight costs are assessed individually for each order. This assessment takes into account variations in destination, size and weight and packaging requirements. The cost for shipping and freight will be quoted and will need to be accepted by the purchaser prior to an order being processed. As the artwork purchased may potentially be shipped from a different location (some artworks/items are stocked in international galleries), the courier may also change as a result of this.

Please note that purchases from outside of New Zealand will be responsible for any customs duties or taxes that may apply in your country.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International shipping is generally accepted however there might be instances where restrictions cause a delay or even prevent the possibility of this happening. In such circumstances, the full return of any amount already paid for undeliverable items will be refunded as soon as possible.

Items that have *Excluded from International Shipping listed in the product description will not be available for purchase anywhere other than New Zealand. All other items will be available to ship to overseas destinations.

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Maori-Art.com or its content suppliers and are protected by international copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of Maori-Art.com and protected by international copyright laws.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND COPYRIGHT OF ARTWORKS

Even after purchase of artworks/items from Maori-Art.com, all intellectual property and all ownership or the right to use copyrights, patents, trademarks of artworks, products, etc shall remain with the creator of the artwork or Maori-Art.com and not the customer.

PRIVACY POLICY

Any private information and/or contact details gathered in the processing of sales or obtained for subscriptions to any service that Maori-Art.com may offer will not be passed on to third parties without the consent of those concerned. Maori-Art.com adheres to policies in relation to privacy and disclosure of information as required by New Zealand Law.

YOUR ACCOUNT

If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Maori-Art.com reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

When you visit Maori-Art.com or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

PAYMENT

We accept PayPal and Bank Account Transfers as our payment methods.

PayPal is a system for online remittance via a trusted third party. You can pay for purchases in your selected currency, and then the payment is automatically converted to New Zealand Dollars. If you have a PayPal account, shopping can be made easier.

FRAMING

Any artworks purchased through Maori-Art.com will be sent unframed. If required, the responsibility will be on the buyers to source their own framing. Images shown of the paintings displayed at Maori-Art.com may occasionally show the painting framed; this is for display purposes only. 

If the customer requires advice from the artist or Maori-Art.com regarding framing then we are happy to;

ï       Discuss this with you and advise a type of framing to suit the piece and your space where it will be shown

INSURANCE

All items ordered through Maori-Art.com will be shipped with an insurance value to the amount paid. Items will be tracked until they reach their location and packaged to prevent damage in transit.

RETURN POLICY

The return due to your own personal reasons

If you are not satisfied with an order due to your own personal reasons (color, size, etc.) and you wish to return it, please notify within 1 week of receipt of your package via email (jamesn09@gmail.com) and a return process can be initiated.

We do not pay return shipping or insurance; that is the responsibility of the customer. We will however, upon receipt of the item(s) in satisfactory condition, issue you a full refund for the paid price of the item purchased through Maori-Art.com. After you notify us and receive approval please return the item in its original condition with a copy of our invoice within 30 days of the receipt of your package. Returns for your own personal reasons must be sent back, at your expense, via a carrier with a reliable tracking system to assure delivery and insurance is required. We cannot accept any returns or exchanges after 30 days of the receipt of your package.
